"12Some things come easily. Others require more effort. 13One can make a glass of water fall to the floor with fairly minimal energy expenditure. One could also stop another from doing so without overexertion. Stopping a waterfall, however, is nearly impossible. However, doing so is possible, if you go about doing it with a large enough exertion. Such an exertion, however, cannot be achieved easily. A proof of the possibility of such an achievement is the mighty Šiblâk dam near Termäpól*. Not only are the Šiblâk Falls† held back from destroying the great city of Termäpól, but they are relocated and allowed to run their course once safely around the city. 14In a similar way, one can overcome a small chill by simply taking a seat at the fire. The Grippe is something else entirely. It may be draining physically. It may be painful. It can be potentially life-threatening. One thing that it is not, however, is incurable or permanent. Many have overcome it before, and many will overcome it again.
--Kronempo 35:12-14I was ill, this week, and, honestly, I still am. It isn't fun. I spent all of Tuesday coughing and sniffing and lying in bed miserably. I wish I just had a mild chill! As Intrezo would point out, "Forget such wishes; they waste your concentration" (Intrenzo 5:2). I suppose he's right; wishing I was better did not turn out a miracle cure. I am now on a trajectory for recovery, however, and I suspect by the time the weekend is out, but this may be wishful thinking. Regardless, I am much better now and therefore have much greater ease writing this sermon, which has been delayed all week due to my cold. Not everything is even now as easy as it should be. What Kronempo, who has an unfortunate talent for writing things that don't always make perfect sense and also for overusing words like "however," is trying to say is that some things are easier to do than others. Some things can be done without giving them a second thought. Others need to be carefully examined for efficiency before beginning to be undertaken. So before doing time-consuming actions, make sure you know that you're actually
doing something first.

Ultimage is to take place.
